| Many people prefer vibrators over dildos. The difference of course being that a vibrators primary function is to use vibration as a means of stimulation, whereas dildo's don't usually vibrate and rely on the feeling of "fullness" for stimulation. The stimulation from vibration can lead to mind blowing, intense orgasms!
TYPES OF VIBRATOR
Insertable vibrators
The most popular type of vibrator. They come in varying shapes, sizes, textures and colours but are designed to vibrate and penetrate. If you are new to vibrators, try experimenting with the different types. Beginners seem to prefer smooth and sleek vibrators, working their way up to realistic looking ones later.
Insertable vibrators can come in the following guises:
Bullets, Smoothies and Rockets
These are the traditional smooth frictionless vibrators that can produce powerful orgasms by penetration and clitoral stimulation.
Realistic Vibrators
As the name implies, realistic looking vibrators that can come with veins and testicles for that real feel.
G-Spot Vibrators
Normally long and thin with a tilted end that is used to stimulate the G-Spot by applying pressure.
Novelty Shaped Vibrators
These come in all shapes sizes and colours and can look like anything but a penis! But don't let appearances fool you -even though they look different, they are cunningly designed to stimulate you as well as any other sex toy.
Combination Vibrators
The famous "Pearl Rabbit" vibrator is a classic combination vibrator. Combination vibrators have a small animal, such as a rabbit, bear or beaver, positioned near the base of the vibrator and facing forward. When the vibrator is inserted into the vagina, the "animal" is positioned so as to vibrate and stimulate the clitoris. Some models, like the Pearl Rabbit, also come with a rotating band of beads or "pearls," which provides G-Spot stimulation. This stimulation of vagina, clitoris and G-Spot can be mind blowing!
Clitoral Vibrators
Any vibrator can be used on the clitoris, but there are specific vibrators designed for this kind of stimulation.
The most common type is a small, egg-shaped device attached to a multi-speed battery pack via a long cord. There are many variations on this theme, but they are all designed to focus vibrations onto the clitoris. Usually, they allow you to select different speeds and levels of vibrations ensuring the perfect stimulation. These vibrators provide very strong, intense and deep sensations. Some people have been known to wear them to work!
Most recently, remote control technology has been introduced, allowing your partner to dictate the level of stimulation you receive!

VIBRATOR TIPS
Vibration levels
Levels of vibration are very subjective. Some people like subtle, relaxing vibrations whereas others like a full- on intense vibrations. If you don't know your preference, it's probably best to start with your vibrator on its lowest intensity setting and then experiment with the higher settings to see what feels most comfortable. If you find your vibrator is too powerful, you can diffuse the vibrations by placing a towel over any external vibrating units.
Positioning
Try moving the vibrator around the outside of the vagina before positioning it on the clitoris. Once you've worked your way to the clitoris, try experimenting with applying light pressure and movement of the head of the vibrator as opposed to heavy pressure and keeping it in a fixed position.
Make some noise!
Try moaning or sighing when you breath out to enhance the whole experience. Moving or rocking your hips rhythmically in time with your breathing can also help.
You can also try some of these techniques too!
Give your PC a squeeze!
If you're comfortable with moving your hips in time with your breathing, try tensing and then relaxing your "PC" muscle (the same muscle you squeeze to stop the flow of urine when you're urinating) in time with your movements.
Multiple Clitoral Orgasms, Madam?
Multiple clitoral orgasms are achievable with a vibrator! Try backing off on the pressure, but keep the vibrator moving, and avoiding direct contact with your clit until the stimulation builds up again.
