Now lets get something straight - there is
absolutely nothing wrong with buying, owning and using sex toys! Programmes like "Sex and the City" and "Sex Tips for Girls" have proven just
how popular sex toys are.
But choosing a toy can be difficult as there is a phenomenal selection to be had -different types, textures, colours and shapes. Before choosing, consider what you like sexually. For example, do you like clitoral stimulation over penetration? What colours and materials do you like?
Is realism/life like better than bright coloured plastic? There is no right or wrong answer as we all have different tastes.
To help you decide we have compiled some information on the various sex toys available which includes tips on how they are used - please read on!
CHOOSING THE RIGHT MATERIAL
Silicone
Considered to be the ideal material for sex toys.
Silicone quickly reaches body temperature and retains the heat. Coupled with a soft and smooth texture it makes for a wonderfully realistic experience. Easy to clean, you can even boil them in water. Nearly hypo-allergenic. High quality but usually costs more than rubber/jelly
Cyberskin
The closest material to skin you'll find and, like silicone, becomes warm with use. We put Cyberskin a notch above silicone. Again, as with Silicone, Cyberskin products will usually cost more than rubber or jelly.
Rubber
Most sex toys are made out of latex rubber which is quite a bit firmer than silicone or jelly.
Jelly
Not as smooth or silky as Silicone, but used with copious amount of lubricant can equal the fun! Usually brightly coloured and translucent.
Plastic
Plastic is hard, cold and unlike the other materials above, is inflexible. Plastic toys usually have a cool and sleek casing, giving a sophisticated and hi tech look. You can really feel the vibrations with plastic which makes it an excellent material for for clitoral stimulation.
