A quarter of women aged over 35 don’t have sex

More than a quarter of British women aged 35 or above “never” have sex, a new survey has found.

Twenty-eight per cent claim they never make love, with the highest figure occurring in Scotland, where a staggering 38 per cent are celibate.

Women in the Midlands are most likely to have sex regularly, with 32 per cent saying they have sex on a weekly basis.

Among those having sex, women without children said they had more orgasms, with 41 per cent claiming they orgasm most of the time. The figure slipped to just 12 per cent of UK women with one child and 14 per cent of those with two.

According to the survey, the daily grind of the office has a negative impact on a women’s sex life.

Fifty-five per cent of those working full time said they had orgasms most or all of the time compared with 70 per cent of those working part time.

This latest sex survey was released by Sky Real Lives to mark the launch of its new series, The Secret Guide To Women’s Health.
